Brendan & Fiona look forward to welcoming you to the Barleycorn Inn, our 18th century village pub, located in the picturesque village of Collingbourne Kingston. The pub consists of a traditional bar and games room, restaurant and bed and breakfast accommodation in the adjoining Old Brew House. Here at The Barleycorn, we serve traditional Brakspear ales as well as the local favourite of Wadworths IPA and a selection of fine wines and spirits. Freshly prepared food made with locally sourced ingredients is served on a daily basis in the restaurant and bar. The centrepiece of the bar is the large inglenook fireplace which houses a roaring fire to keep the cold away during those dark winter nights. During the long summer days, you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in our elevated beer garden, whilst taking in the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. We have 5 luxury en suite rooms available for bed and breakfast accommodation. The rooms have recently been renovated to a high standard, and feature digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and iPod docking stations as standard. Two rooms of our rooms have ground floor access and one of these has a double sized walk-in shower. Breakfast is served in our restaurant and includes both Continental and cooked options.
